The Nymandhlovu Cleft Stick and Messenger is appalled that
President Bush is
not numbered amongst its readership. (Actually, the
NCS&M is no less
appalled that Tony Blair, Jean Cretin*, Jaques Chirac, Gerhard
Schroeder,
and Whoever's Running Italy are also not subscribers.)
It is quite clear that if these world leaders are not taking note
of what
the NCS&M is saying, they will be plainly unqualified to
exercise informed
judgements on what goes on in Africa.
After all, it is a known fact that none of the leaders of Africa
pay
attention to the NCS&M, and the fuck-up they have made of
Africa speaks for
itself. However, one would have thought that whiteys like
Bush & co would
show more intelligence.
Of course, there is a possibility - slight as it may be - that
Bush and his
fellow leaders of the Free World don't actually know about the
NCS&M.
However, this can be rectified.
We would not expect them to subscribe to the printed edition,
which comes
out on ZW$500 notes, because they are cheaper than
newsprint. However, the
electronic version is free, as all subscribers to this newsgroup
will know.
(As Mr Bullpoint Lumumba, Editor-in-Chief, puts it, "I don't
want money, I
want respect.)
Consequently, if anyone is able to supply email addresses for
George W Bush,
Tony Blair, Jean Cretin*, or any other influential world leaders,
we will
ensure that all editions of the NCS&M are mailed directly to
them as soon as
they appear.
This will enable them to do more than Keep Up with the
Times. As the new
advertising slogan of the NCS&M proclaims, Don't just Keep Up
with the
Times, Get Ahead of the Times - read the Nyamandhlovu Cleft Stick
and
Messenger, and Know What Goes On.

Ja, whatever. - Sub-ed.
