Dongo mission to Afghanistan (9):
Gladys in Egypt
2001-10-22 22:06:07 PST The Nyamandhlovu Cleft Stick and Messenger reports on some of the adventures of Gladys Dongo en route to Afghanistan. In Egypt, Gladys visited the pyramids. Advised that they took years to build, she promptly built another one, to show that the job could have been done much faster by a woman. The new pyramid will be known as the Great Pyramid of Gladys, and is in the shape of one of Gladys' brassiere cups, an E+. It was built with smooth sides and no obvious way to enter. However, in order to stick with established tradition, an nyanga was procured, who laid a great curse upon whoever should force their way into the pyramid within the next thousand years. It is reported that entry was procured the very next day by a certain Titus Mhlope, a native of Katlehong, just outside Johannesburg. Mhlope now has a bad case of St Vitus Dance. Egyptian police are mystified at how he got in. However, South African Police are surprised that it took him so long.
