Having missed a few editions due to the printing of the new ZWD500 bill, the
Nyamandhlovu Cleft Stick and Messenger reports on items concerning Gladys
Dongo on her journey to Afghanistan.

While passing through Saudi Arabia, Gladys impressed all observers with her
prowess on the bicycle. As one Aramco executive observed - Holy Shit, with
legs like that, who needs petrol?

At Riyadh, Gladys was invited to try out the local means of transport, which
is an animal known as a dromedary. Those with a knowledge of zoology will
know that a dromedary is a one-humped camel, quite distinct from the
two-humped variety found in East Asia, which is known as a Bactrian.

Gladys willingly obliged by hopping upon the dromedary.

When the dromedary recovered, it was relocated to the Riyadh zoo, where it
is now on display as a Bactrian.
